Health and happiness go hand in hand. We want our residents to be happy, so we offer the opportunity to participate in unique and progressive wellness programs.
Twice per week, our wellness coordinator engages residents in a seated class that covers every aspect of healthy living. There are breathing and exercise components that encourage physical fitness and time for storytelling and brain games to keep minds healthy and sharp. And of course we discuss a variety of topics to round out our holistic approach.
In addition to our Wellness class, we also offer a Life in Balance class that concentrates on fall prevention to keep residents safe and mobile. This class works hand in hand with our therapy programs for both rehabilitation and long-term care residents and focuses on coordination, gait, balance and fitness.
As always, we include the whole family with frequent progress reports and updates. With a mixture of discussion, laughter and fitness, our wellness programs are popular and permeate every facet of life here.
