Gregory Chambery | Administrator
Greg has worked at The Maplewood for nearly three decades and loves that every day is a new adventure. He holds a degree in Business Administration and is a NYS Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
Outside of the office, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He serves as President of the Rochester Christian School Foundation and Chair of the New York State Health Facilities Association.
Laurie Zazzara | Assistant Administrator
With over 27 years of experience in the healthcare field, Laurie oversees our business office. She loves that there is never a dull moment and enjoys her interactions with residents and their family members.
Married with two children, Laurie loves spending as much time with her family as she can. She lives and works by the motto, “Treat others as you would want to be treated.”
Debbie Gates | Human Resources Director
Debbie is a 30-year veteran in the human resources field. She loves hiring great people and helping them to be successful. Her motto is, “People first; paperwork second.”
Married for 37 years, Debbie has three children and four grandchildren and enjoys spending as much time with them as she can. Favorite activities include entertaining friends and family at their cottage.
Lynn Pierce | Director of Social Services
With a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from RIT and over 20 years in the field, Lynn uses her training and experience to guide residents and families through the challenges associated with nursing care.
In addition to her commitment and work in long-term care, Lynn is an active supporter of organizations such as Greater Rochester Area Partnership for the Elderly (G.R.A.P.E.), Adult Day Health Care Council, and American Heart Association. She is also a trained Eden Associate.
Lynn resides in Brighton, and is active in swimming, traveling, reading, cooking and art.
Kathy Talarczyk | Director of Nursing
Kathy is a Registered Nurse who has worked here for 15 years. It means a lot to her that her work affects the quality of life for the residents. She is an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, and her three children are the most important part of her life. She enjoys gardening, walking and counted cross stitch.
Suzanne Allman | Assistant Director of Nursing
Suzanne is a Registered Nurse who joined The Maplewood in July of 2012. In addition to her service as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy for six years and extensive clinical and administrative experience since, Suzanne has over ten years experience in the long-term care setting. Suzanne is married and lives in Williamson.
Yvonne Arnold | Director of Staff Education
Yvonne enjoys the sense of history The Maplewood’s residents bring to her life. She has worked here for 21 years and lives by the credo, “It is better to give than to receive.” With this in mind, Yvonne is the perfect choice to oversee our training program. She loves the hands-on aspect of her job and hopes her enthusiasm shines through to her students and gets passed along to residents.
Married with two grown children, she loves to be outdoors. She and her husband volunteer with the Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network and have participated in medical missions.
Debra L. Schipper | Adult Nurse Practitioner
With degrees in nursing and nearly 20 years of experience, Deb is a wonderful asset to the nursing staff. Her goal is to treat residents the way she would like her own mother to be treated, which makes her a perfect match for The Maplewood.
She has two grown children and five grandchildren and enjoys flipping houses and traveling with her fiancé.
Dawn Schmitt | Adult Nurse Practitioner
Dawn has worked in healthcare for her entire career and holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Nursing. She loves interacting with The Maplewood residents and keeping them in good health.
Married with two young boys, Dawn enjoys boating and relaxing on the water with family and friends. She is a member of the Webster School District Parent teacher Association.
Gary Sacco | Director of Recreation
Gary’s upbeat and positive personality permeates The Maplewood. For the past 18 years he has been involved in helping residents live more meaningful lives through excellent programming. He loves to cycle and is a member of the Beechwood Neighborhood Association. He lives by the motto, “Be consistently good every day.”
Michael Fall | Director of Dining Services
Mike has worked in restaurants since high school, working every position from prep cook to restaurant owner. He uses his extensive culinary skills to make sure The Maplewood offers a distinct and unique dining experience for residents. He is married with two children and a large Newfie that occasionally accompanies him on visits to residents.
Gail Ross | Director of Environmental Services
Gail has been with The Maplewood for 16 years and believes you should never ask anyone to do something you wouldn’t do yourself. She loves the feeling of family here and strives to provide excellent customer service to residents, making sure they have a clean and safe environment to live in. In her spare time she enjoys going on cruises and spending time with her husband and three children.
