As the holidays come closer, our residents will be getting more and more visitors—of all ages. As the grandchild of a chronically ill person, I know what it's like to spend stretches of time visiting a long-term care facility. As a result, I am doing my best to have something for everyone at The Maplewood this holiday season. On “the big bookcase” at “the corner with the big windows” (where 3rd unit blue hall meets 1st unit north hall), visitors will find an assortment of books and activity items for friends and family of all ages.
3 more businesses have donated prizes for our Holiday Bazaar raffles: Johnny's Irish Pub, Narcissus Salon (both located in Rochester), and Hatters Pub (here in the village of Webster) have all thrown in gift cards! Many thanks go out to Johnny Savino, Jeanne Klem and Donna Baumgartner!
