As Director of Social Services for over eight years, Lisa contributed to the quality of life at The Maplewood in significant ways. Lisa relocated to Georgia in November to be with family and to pursue exciting new opportunities in the field of social work.

While Lisa Davies leaves sizable shoes to fill, we are thrilled to have as her successor a person of equal skill, compassion, ethics, and commitment. On January 3, The Maplewood family welcomed Lynn Pierce, our new Director of Social Services. Lynn comes to us with impeccable credentials, including a lengthy tenure as Director of Adult Day Services at an established Rochester nursing home. During a thorough search where many highly qualified candidates were interviewed by our administrative team, Lynn’s depth of experience, compassion, enthusiasm, and unfailing resident advocacy presented the perfect match for The Maplewood. What’s more, Lynn already possesses and exhibits all the characteristics we embrace as The Maplewood Way.
