I’m a people pleaser, so it makes sense that I am a nurse. I love making people feel better and helping families get through what can be a difficult process. My job requires a lot of administrative tasks and hands-on care, but I also like being there for the families with updates and support. It’s different here. Everybody is happy, and there’s definitely a personal connection. I once had a family member send a thank you letter to my home. My own family is my life, so it was very satisfying to know I impacted someone else’s family enough for them to do that.
