I have a lot of personal contact with residents through our Wellness Program. To be well and to be happy is different for everyone, so I tailor the program based on residents’ individual needs. I love it when residents tell me they’ve lost weight, started a new club or doubled their walking distance. I also love how supportive it is here. Activity and fitness are a big part of my own life, so I appreciate that the staff are willing to incorporate wellness into day-to-day living. Even simple changes can make a big difference in how a resident feels, so having a culture that supports wellness is important to me.
