I've always been hands-on in my nursing career, and because we have a holistic approach here, I can provide a level of care and caring to residents that they can't get in other settings. I feel good knowing that something I do – even when it is indirectly – results in residents having the best experience they can here. Part of my job involves hiring and training nurses. I've hired new nurses and experienced nurses, and they each shine for different reasons. I love that we are committed to being fully staffed so each resident gets the individual attention they deserve. My own mother was a resident here for four years, and I knew when I left at night that she was in good hands.
